God Bless the Rain!
It's raining right now. I never thought I'd be that happy about rain, but I am! It's been a little bit of a heat wave....that's lasted since Friday. Upper 90's that felt like 100's because of the humidity. Our apartment, PS, doesn't have air conditioning... just a flimsy little fan that blows hot air around to make it about 3 degrees cooler. Ahh but now, there is cool wind from that wonderful rain. :)
Anyway this weekend was pretty fun. Friday me, Caitlin and Kristin decided to go check out this lounge a co-worker of mine told me about. It was pretty neat. It was on a rooftop across from the empire state building.
After that we went to the "Shake Shack" a little, i guess malt shop, in the middle of the Manhattan Park. It was delicious! Loved it, defiantly going back.
Saturday we decided to go to the Hello Deli from the Late Show...ya know, Rupert? I didn't think he'd be there, and he wasn't at first, just some nice lady but I walked outside to meet our friend Chance and there he was standing right in front of me! It was so weird! So funny.
After the Hello Deli we took the subway to the Brooklyn Museum to see an Artist named Murakami. I'm working on trying to get his wall covering from the Gagosian Gallery for a client's daughters room and he had an exhibit here, so the designer I work with told me to check out his stuff. I'd recognized one of his pieces from Interior Design Magazine. Kanye West had a lot of his stuff. It's crazy, I really like it though!

After the Museum we got gelato in "the village" that's what the locals call Greenwich Village...
Sunday we went to church and ran into some boys that we always see at both churches we go to. We ended up going to their apartment in Brooklyn to have a BBQ. It was a lot of fun, we just played dumb games and hung out on their patio because their view is amazing!!!
