Memorial Weekend---or Fleet Week

Ahoy! So it's Memorial day weekend! Yea! That meant half day on Friday and no work today! :) Last week I got to go to the Empire State Building with my friend Merry Brown! It was so much fun, but...my camera died. Sad. So I need to get those pics from her, but here's one before it died.

Friday was pretty fun. The girls and I took a fairy to Staten Island, it goes right by the Statue of Liberty....we thought it'd be a bit closer though. But it was free. And there wasn't a line. So it was cool.

That tiny thing behind me is the Statue of Liberty herself.

This weekend was the Brooklyn Bridge's 125th Birthday so they had events all weekend. Friday night we went over Brooklyn to watch Enchanted in the park with the Bridge in the background. It was all lit up in different colors. It was really neat!

Saturday was a day I've been waiting for, for quite a while! We went to go see Indiana Jones 4..... Loved it. I thought they did such a good job making it like the other 3. It was cheesy and a little corny...yes, but that's what the movie is. It was good. Everything I was hoping for. :)

After the movie we went and ate at Planet Hollywood....and guess who I ran into.....

The Joker from Batman......I Love Him.

Sunday after church Cate, Whit & I enjoyed a little picnic in Central Park by our apartment and played Phase 10. It was so great. Such a nice day. Today we took the never-ending subway ride to Coney Island. It was cute, but SOOOO windy. We laid out at the beach for maybe an hour or so, then decided to head home.
